What you provide: markers/coloring crayons, scissors, thread, punch, tape, and glue
Print out the ocean page and color in
Cut out the diver and fishes with scissors
Glue the fish to the ocean page.
Punch a hole at the top and bottom of the ocean design, then thread the string through the holes and connect the ends
Tie the string a little loosely, leaving some slack so that the string can move when pulled
Attach the diver to the string using tape
The diver is now ready to move up and down!
For more variety, cut out a photo to use for the diver's face. Or, create a swimmers or sharks to attach to the string instead of the diver.
